- MyBrain15 programme is a learning financing programme in postgraduate level and it is one of the critical agenda project under Pelan Strategik Pengajian Tinggi Negara (PSPTN).
- Objectives of the program are to create human resource cluster that is knowledgeable as high as catalyst on research, development and innovation.
- This programme implementation can develop first world talent base which would be one of the initiatives to spur Malaysia as a high income country.
- Under this programme, Government targeting to generate as many as 60,000 PhD holder from among Malaysians towards year 2023.
- Programmes implemented through Program MyBrain15 are:
- MyPhD
- Requirements:
- CGPA 3.00 in Master Degree
- Bachelor Degree or equivalent that recognised by Government with CGPA minimum 3.50
- Bachelor Degree or equivalent that recognised by Government with CGPA minimum 2.75 and working experience in fields related at least 5 years
- Age below 50 years
- Unemployed graduates
- Working in private company/lecturer in private university
- Basically for private employee will get RM 24,000 maximum funding aid for their whole study fees (not include living cost and accommodation fee), thesis allowance, and journal aid allowances.
- MyMaster
- Requirements:
- Applicant must possess Ijazah Bachelor or equivalent that recognised by Government with CGPA minimum 2.75
- Age below 45 years
- Unemployed graduates
- Working in private company/lecturer in private university
- Basically for all graduates will get study fees and thesis preparation funding aid (does not include living cost and accommodation fee) does not exceed RM10,000
- Industri PhD
- Requirements:
- CGPA 3.00 in Master Degree
- Bachelor Degree or equivalent that recognised by Government with CGPA minimum 3.50
- Bachelor Degree or equivalent that recognised by Government with CGPA minimum 2.75 and working experience in fields related at least 5 years
- Age below 50 years
- Working as an executive in private company/GLCs which directly involved in research, development, and innovation
- Courses: Engineering, Science, and Technology
- PHD candidates will get funding aid (maximum RM50,000) on education costs, supervision/training cost, panel examination cost, and degree conferment
- Skim Latihan Akademik IPTA (SLAI)
