PRAISE

PRAISE stands for Prasarana Rail and Infrastructure Projects Sdn. Bhd. Formerly known as Project Development Division (PDD). Lead by it's CEO, Dato' Ir. Zohari Sulaiman since 2014. There are four departments under PRAISE namely Ampang LEP, Kelana Jaya LEP, Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) and Research & Development (R&D) which spearheaded by these people, respectively:

Chief Executive Officer, PRAISE

Dato' Ir. Zohari started his career in rail business with KTM Berhad in 1982. His experience with KTMB was in engineering, maintenance and refurbishment of locomotives, passenger coaches, freight wagons and workshop machinery. He was also responsible for the technical safety of intercity train operations.

He joined STAR LRT in 1995 and was involved in the implementation of operations and engineering training for the first LRT system in Malaysia. He joined PUTRA LRT in 1996 as the pioneer group and contributed to the design and construction of depot to meet the operational requirement, train-the-trainer programme, testing, commissioning and opening of the LRT 2. Later, he was appointed as the General Manager of Engineering, responsible for the maintenance of the fully automative driverless and manual driven trains, integrated supporting systems, fleet expansion project, electrical & mechanical system upgrading works and engineering development of both LRT lines. Under the implementation of management by line, he was appointed as the General Manager of Engineering and Operations for Kelana Jaya Line.

Graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of John Moores, Liverpool, United Kingdom, YBhg Dato' Zohari is a Professional Engineer registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia. He holds various memberships such as Corporate Member of the Institution of Engineers Malaysia; Fellow of the Permanent Way Institution (UK) and Chartered Member of the Institute of Logistics & Transport (M).

Dato' Zohari Sulaiman was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer for Rapid Bus Sdn Bhd and Prasarana’s Group Director for Bus on 1 November 2011. Prior to this appointment he was the Group Director for Infrastructure Services
