2nd-4th December 2013 - Malaysian Technical Conference On Engineering & Technology (MUCET 2013), Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP)

One of our researchers, Hazril Bin  Md Isa has attended the Malaysian Technical Universities Conference On Engineering & Technology (MUCET 2013). The conference has been held on 2nd until 4th December 2013 at M.S Garden Hotel, Kuantan, Pahang. It was organized by Malaysian Technical Universities Network (MTUN) comprising of four universities i.e Universiti Malaysia Pahang, Universiti Tun Hussein Onn, Universiti Teknikal Melaka and Universiti Malaysia Perlis. Our purpose in attending the conference is to introduce our department to research communities in universities. Thus, open the door to future research collaboration between our company and universities. The feedback the we got from this conference is positive as a number of researchers/academicians have expressed their interest to collaborate with us regarding public transportation research. We also have successfully presented our own paper in the conference. The paper titled "A Study On Previous And Ongoing Research Regarding Public Transportation In Malaysia" has been focused on current research scope in Public transport. 23rd-24th December 2013 - Malaysian Universities Transport Research Forum Conference (MUTRFC 2013), Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM)

Both of researchers, Hazril Bin Md Isa & Noor Aqilah Ahmad Tajedi have presented their respective paper in this conference. HMI has presented a paper titled "Passenger Information Systems For Public Transport In Malaysia, An Overview" whereas NAAT has presented a paper titled "Getting Journey Information Into the Mobile Application Role of GTFS in Klang Valley Area". As a response, a number of researchers in the conference have expressed their interest to collaborate with us especially in passenger information system.
